Hosted by Joanna Petrie-Rout, the Founder of No Ordinary Woman.
A woman who transformed her life through daily walks — leaving corporate life after 36 years, starting a business at 54, selling her house and possessions and travelling the world indefinitely from September 2026.
Choosing an extraordinary new chapter at 55.
Each day you make the choice to give yourself the gift of time.
You put yourself first for a change and go for a short daily walk at your own pace.
You have the space to breathe, to thin and to actually listen to yourself again.
You feel calmer. You feel clearer. You stop dismissing the quiet ache that says something needs to change.
You begin to remember what you enjoy, what you want, and who you are becoming.
You have built a good life, but something still feels missing.
You keep asking yourself, “Is this all there is?”
You feel like you have given so much to everyone else that you have lost touch with yourself.
Your children need you differently now, and you are wondering who you are beyond being needed.
Your career, routine or role no longer lights you up the way it once did.
You feel restless, lonely or frustrated, but guilty for wanting more.
You know something needs to change, but you do not know where to start.
You are tired of trying to figure it all out alone.
I used to feel guilty and ungrateful because on paper my life looked really good.
I had the good job, great marriage, nice house and lovely holidays and yet I felt like part of me was missing.
You probably feel the same. You may have security, comfort, responsibilities and people who love you, and yet you still feel disconnected from yourself.
You are not ungrateful. You are not having a mid-life crisis (I HATE this phrase!).
You are standing at the edge of your next chapter.
We are halfway through the year. Maybe in January you promised yourself this year would feel different. But here you are, six months later, still waiting for clarity to arrive.
A 28-day walking and reflection experience for women in midlife who are ready to stop drifting, start listening to themselves again, and take one honest step towards a life that feels like them.

Walking is a brilliant way of accessing your inner voice.
It gets you out of the noise, out of the house, out of overthinking and back into your body.
Daily walks have changed my life.
They helped me cope with the pain of infertility
They helped me when corporate life felt heavy
They helped with my mental health
They helped me tune back into my purpose.
Not because walking magically fixed everything, but because they gave me space to hear myself again. That was where I began to ask different questions. That was where I stopped ignoring myself. That was where I started becoming the woman I am now.
In my early fifties, I knew the life I had built no longer fitted the woman I was becoming. But, I hesitated. I found myself overthinking and waiting for the perfect answer or moment before I made any changes. I wasted years.
My daily walk helped me walk away from the life I was settling for, to trust myself and to step into the woman who no longer waited for her life to feel like hers again.
I left a corporate job I had outgrown, started my own business helping women like you to reinvent themselves and their lives in midlife.
I've sold my house and possessions and at 55, I am about to travel indefinitely and live a life that feels extraordinary to me.
But it did not begin with a dramatic masterplan. It began with daily walks. Honest questions. And the courage to listen to the answers. That is what I want to walk beside you through.
You do not need hours.
You do not need perfect answers.
You don't need to know what your next chapter looks like yet.
Feel more connected to yourself again
Understand what has been feeling off and why
Recognise what you want more of in this next season
Feel less alone in your midlife restlessness
Start trusting your own voice again Have more clarity about your next honest step
Feel braver about wanting a life that feels like you
This is not about having your whole life figured out in 28 days. It is about creating the space, honesty and momentum to begin.
Walk Back To You is £11.
The price is intentional. Not because this work is small. Because this is your first act of commitment to yourself.
Free content gets saved for later. Paid programmes get actioned.
For £11, you are choosing to stop scrolling, stop overthinking, stop waiting for the perfect time — and begin walking back to yourself.
11 is also the number of intuition and that is exactly what you will connect back with over our 28 days together.
You want someone else to give you all the answers without doing the reflection.
You are looking for a fitness challenge.
You want a quick fix or dramatic reinvention overnight.
You are not willing to make 20 minutes of space for yourself. You are not ready to be honest about what feels off.
But if you are ready to take one small step back towards yourself, you are in the right place.
You do not need to know the whole path.
You do not need to explain your restlessness to everyone.
You do not need permission to want more from this next chapter of your life.
You just need one honest step.
Come and walk with me.
Your walk can take as long as you like however I would recommend around 20 minutes each day for your walk and reflection. This gives you time to settle into the walk and for your thoughts to settle.
No. This is about reconnection, not perfection. If you miss a day, simply pick back up. Ideally you are looking to walk 5 days a week to build momentum however I have intentionally built in two rest days to allow space. I know life sometimes gets in the way!
No. This is a walking and reflection experience. The walk is simply the space where the coaching question lands. That said, you will experience benefits form being outside in nature and moving your body but that is not the primary aim.
That is completely normal. You are not looking for perfect answers. You are learning to listen to your intuition again.
You will receive a daily audio by email, Monday to Friday for 4 weeks, plus access to the No Ordinary Woman Learning Portal and Community. The online community will be a great way to share your wins and get support from the other women doing the challenge.
